Cancellation Policies

Cooling off Period

1. Cancelling More Than 30 Days Before Agreement Start Date:
You may cancel a tenancy agreement without incurring any penalty, provided that written notice is submitted to the relevant property at least 30 days prior to the agreement start date.

2. Cancelling Less Than 30 Days Before Agreement Start Date:
Should you decide to cancel the agreement less than 30 days before the start date, a break lease fee equivalent to 2 weeks' rent will be charged.


No Visa No Pay
If you have not obtained your visa to study in Australia, it is imperative that you notify the relevant property management in writing at least 7 days before the start of your agreement. You must provide clear evidence demonstrating your inability to enter the country. In such cases, you will not face penalties, provided that you submit sufficient evidence and notification within the specified timeframe.

Any payments made thus far can be either refunded or transferred to a new agreement at a later date. Your current agreement will be cancelled upon confirmation of your visa situation.



No Place No Pay
In the event that you have not obtained your visa to study in Australia, it is essential that you inform the relevant property management in writing at least 7 days before the commencement of your agreement. Along with your notification, you must include evidence clearly demonstrating your inability to enter the country. Rest assured, you will not face any penalties as long as you provide adequate evidence and notification within this timeframe.

Any payments you have made up to this point can be refunded or transferred to a new agreement at a later date. Your current agreement will be cancelled once confirmation of your visa status is received.

Payment Policies

Booking Deposit:

  1. Upon booking a room, you must submit a 2-week deposit to secure your reservation.
  2. The deposit will be credited towards your rent.

 

Security Deposit:

  1. Prior to checking in, you must pay a bond equal to 4 weeks' rent.
  2. This bond will be reimbursed at the conclusion of the tenancy, provided there are no outstanding rent payments, room damages, or cleaning fees incurred.
  3. For short-stay bookings, no bond is required. However, a $100 administrative fee will be charged.

 

Payment Installment Plan:
The property provides two payment options:

  1. Full payment.
  2. Fortnightly payments.

 

Mode of Payment:

  1. Opting for fortnightly rent payments requires registration for Direct Debit prior to moving in. Payments will then be automatically collected on their due dates.
  2. If you decide to pay in full, payment must be made using a credit or debit card.

 

Guarantor Requirement:
A guarantor is not required to book a room with the property.

 

Additional Fees:
PMG require a $100 admin fee. If there are any damages to your room when you leave you may be charged.
